We are proud to welcome our new pastor, Tim Marcengill, to our church. Pastor Tim is coming from St. George, SC, to join our church as pastor. Tim is originally from this area, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our church, and pray for his safe move. Tim will start on June 1, 2008, and we thank God for sending Tim to us.

Our new Interim Pastor - The Reverend Ron Potts has been elected as our new Interim Pastor. We wish him God's blessings and look forward to working with him. Congratulations Ron.
We have a new ministry, in that we will provide anyone who would like to have a VHS/VCR tape or DVD of any of our services, we will provide one each week. We will deliver a new one each week, during the week following a service, and pick up the previous one to be reused. This service is meant for all people in the area who are ill, disabled or otherwise unable to attend the services in person. To enable us to know how many we need to make each week, you will need to fill out a brief form. Please help us, by letting us know of any people that might benefit from this new ministry. If you go to the "Calvary Devotional" web page off the "Home" page, you will see a link to the "Prayer List" page, and it has the current prayer lists for both the Senior Adult Class and the Young Adult Class.
A list of things we could use is posted at the food bank, if folks would take a look at the list and maybe help restock, it may keep us from running completely out. The list is in the food bank room on the basket sign out notebook, and also on the web site off the activities page (Click Here for web page). In lieu of food you may make a donation by giving to Arthur Medlin. Your help is most appreciated.
Children's Church is now available during our regular service for children grades K5-6th in the old fellowship hall located upstairs. The nursery is also available.
Prayer requests can be made by filling out the form at the bottom of the "Calvary Devotional" page. This would be particularly handy if you can't be present at the Wednesday night service. These requests will be automatically sent to the Pastor via email when submitted in this manner, as well as put on the web page.
COMPUTER EXPERTISE FOR FREEOur computer room is available by appointment only. If you wish to get individual instruction please make arrangements with Joe Green. We have scanners, laser and color printers, zip drives, CD-RW drives, Internet access and lots of software programs, including the new QuickVerse 7.0 Bible Study program. Contact Joe (Joe@Calvary-Salem.com) for more information. There is no fee.
