Calvarys Recipe of the MonthSeptember, 2007 Carrot Cake 2 cups
flour
11/4 cup vegetable oil Combine flour, sugar,baking power,soda,salt and cinnamon mix well. Add oil to flour mixture while mixing.add carrots and eggs one at a mixing well after each.stir in nuts and vanilla.Mix well.Pour into greased and floured 9 x13 pan.Bake in 350 degree oven 50 to 60 min.or until cake springs back when touched lightly.Cool in pan. Cream Cheese Frosting 8 oz cream cheese Beat the cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar and beat to blend.Spread on cake. (Recipe courtesey Bertha Oliver) |
